Women who struggle with substance addiction often feel guilty, particularly those who have children. When a drug or alcohol addiction is part of your life, it is not easy to live up to the standards put on women in our society. But a specialized rehab program for women in Minnesota recognizes your distinct needs as a female and can lead you out of the darkness.
Minnesota offers numerous drug and alcohol rehab programs with women’s services. In one 2011 survey, about 30 percent of participating substance abuse treatment facilities answered yes to offering female-only programs. In a more recent survey, 35 percent of patients enrolled in a substance abuse program were women. Amphetamines ranked high among treatment areas for women, as well as alcohol, cocaine, heroin, and other opiates.
You or your loved one is not alone in this addiction battle. Have hope that chemical dependency can come to an end with one of Minnesota’s drug and alcohol programs for women.
