Rehab Centers That Accept Cigna Insurance in Ohio
When it comes to overcoming a drug or alcohol addiction, the best course of action to ensure long-term success is seeking professional rehabilitation care. But many people who struggle with substance abuse issues don’t receive the help that they need because their insurance won’t adequately cover such treatment programs.
People all across the nation struggle with substance abuse issues, including residents of Ohio. And because these issues are so widespread, it goes without saying that individuals should always be aware of what rehabilitation services their insurance covers. Cigna, a popular insurance provider, offers rehabilitation coverage for family, individual, and business insurance.
Cigna Healthcare Plans: An Overview
Cigna offers an assortment of low and high deductible medical plans, which are generally consistent from state to state. The Cigna Vantage Flex 6400 plan, for instance, has an individual annual deductible of $6,400 and an annual family deductible of $12,800. While among the most inexpensive of plans on a monthly basis, it is more ideal for young professionals in good health.
Conversely, Cigna also offers a low deductible plan, the Cigna Vantage Flex 1900, which includes a $1,900 individual annual deductible and $3,800 annual family deductible. This particular plan also offers $30 copays for primary services and $75 copays for specialist services. This plan is more ideal for families that require regular medical attention.
Cigna Healthcare Plans for Rehabilitation Treatment
Inpatient rehabilitation is a more intensive process than outpatient rehab, and it requires a higher personal monetary investment. Thankfully, mental health and substance abuse is covered by Cigna plans. For instance, under the Vantage Flex 1900 plan, in-network inpatient mental health services are covered. Unfortunately, there are also some restrictions. For instance, such inpatient services are only covered after members meet their deductible and members still have to pay 30 percent of their coverage.
On the Vantage Flex 6400 plan, inpatient mental health services are covered, but only after the deductible is met. Even after that, members still have to pay 40 percent of the costs. Specific services covered under Cigna include: individual, family, and group therapy; outpatient treatment; detox; inpatient treatment for substance abuse; and partial hospitalization for substance abuse.
