Also under the three plans, out-of-pocket individual maximums are up to $6,700 and family maximums up to $13,400.

Cigna does cover the likes of inpatient residential treatment, detox, and group and individual counseling under its California health plans, however what is covered and how much is covered varies based on the plan. For instance, under its California Bronze plan, even after meeting the insurance deductible, members are responsible for 100 percent of any in-network inpatient treatment costs when it comes to rehabilitation. This differs greatly from the Flex 6400 plan, however, as that plan covers the service to an extent, and requires members to pay 40 percent of additional inpatient costs after meeting the deductible.

The other main plan, the Health Savings 6100 might just be the best plan of all when it comes to inpatient rehabilitative services, as members don’t have to pay anything out-of-pocket for in-network treatment after they reach their deductible. If they’re seeking treatment at a provider outside of their network, however, they’ll be required to pay for 50 percent of the costs after meeting the deductible.
