Akron is the fifth-largest city in Ohio, located in Summit County on the western side of the Glaciated Allegheny Plateau, south of Lake Erie. Akron’s population as of 2015 was 197,542. From this same report, participants reported that as treatment became more available for opioid abuse and addiction, Suboxone became more available on the streets for misuse.

Opioids are dangerous drugs of addiction with high instances of overdose deaths, and abuse of opioid drugs and the medications used to treat abuse of opioids is alarming and often results in adverse effects or overdose.
