Lompoc is a community of about 42,000 residents in northern Santa Barbara County. It is roughly 20 miles south of Santa Maria and is adjacent to Vandenberg Air Force Base. Lompoc is in a relatively isolated area along the Central California coast. The community has two active substance use disorder organizations which operate residential, detox, and outpatient treatment programs in the community.
