Substance Abuse Rehabilitation and Treatment

Escondido is home to one of the country's most luxurious rehabilitation: AAE Wellness Retreat (and Crosby Center,) at 30651 Camino De Las Lomas. People who come to AAE Retreat are treated at the Crosby Center, a nationally recognized treatment center that does not use the 12 step approach. Patients who fail at other treatment programs often come to Crosby because of its proven success, and because it offers more advanced treatment than is available at many other facilities across the country.

The Crosby Center has a total wellness approach, so patients have a full physical on admission. Individualized treatment plans help patients address their own issues, and the center has inpatient programs that last anywhere from 14 to 90 days. Many of the patients have been referred to the center, and it is a program where most insurance plans are accepted.

The Fellowship Center, at 737 East Grand Avenue in Escondido, is an outpatient abstinence-based treatment facility. Although it doesn't have a residential facility where patients are treated, the center does have sober living facilities where patients are able to live during treatment and while they are in recovery.
