If a patient selects an in-network outpatient facility under this plan, they are required to pay a $30 copay. If they receive treatment at an in-network residential treatment center, they pay 30% coinsurance. And patients must be pre-certified to stay at an inpatient treatment center.
United Healthcare of Ohio also offers health insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act. One plan that is available is the Silver Compass HSA 3000. Under this plan, an individual has a deductible of $3,000 while a family pays $6,000. Patients who purchase this plan and wish to receive treatment for substance abuse disorders must choose an in-network provider in order to receive coverage for their care. Once the deductible has been met, the patient has a 0% coinsurance fee for both outpatient treatment and inpatient treatment at an in-network facility.
